Adobe Online Services‘ new beta service, Protect an Adobe PDF File, is now open to all users! Previously mentioned by Lori DeFurio, the service allows you to control who can open your PDF documents, what can be done with them (e.g. print, add comments, copy and paste), and when your documents expire. Behind the scenes, the service uses Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server to AES encrypt the documents and provide decryption keys only to authorized users authenticated with Adobe IDs. For more information, view the FAQ, or start using it now!
