I live in Taiwan and just got the Galaxy Tablet, well for three weeks anyway. The apps are amazing, I have downloaded a bunch of books and am reading a lot more than I have for years ( English books are very expensive in Asia ) My office mail is synced, full wifi and 3g. I travel a lot overseas for business and will never have to lug around a laptop again. I am on trains and subways a lot and this is perfect. I've seen people reading iPads and they look way too huge. Samsung has a winner here.

What do you mean by your comment of "I hate the lack of a wifi version." Do you mean a wifi only version? As opposed to needing to have a contract with a carrier? The specs on the Samsung website indicate the device does have wifi. I would like to price to come down and not be required to have a contract with a wireless carrier as I too would just use my home or work wifi and not plan to surf the web when out. Plus I have a Sprint HTC Evo that I could use as a hotspot for my tablet so why pay for a second connection to their network.
