For those of you not familiar with IETF, its an international group of network designers, operators, vendors and researches guiding the future of the Internet. We’re excited to have Matthew speak about the RTMFP protocol operating over the internet. RTMFP is a protocol that operates over UDP that enables Peer to Peer data flow within Flash Player 10.x (released November 2008) which is now available on over 95% of connected desktops. RTMFP enables groups of peer clients to share data efficiently and securely helping to reduce bandwidth costs for media and data delivery.
