It provides designers, developers and project managers with a common way to learn, build, annotate, share and track workflows for designing and developing projects. WorkflowLab includes a number of workflow starting points and enables users to easily share and track workflows.

Pixel Bender Launched

Adobe Pixel Bender technology delivers a common image and video processing infrastructure which provides automatic runtime optimization on heterogeneous hardware. You can use the Pixel Bender kernel language to implement image processing algorithms (filters or effects) in a hardware-independent manner. The Pixel Bender graph language is an XML-based language for combining individual pixel-processing operations (kernels) into more complex Pixel Bender filters.

Pixel Bender moved to the Adobe Developer Connection on January 11, 2010 and is no longer hosted on Labs.

Squiggly Prerelease Release 2 Now Available on Labs

Squiggly is a spell checking engine for Adobe® Flash® Player and Adobe AIR®. The Squiggly library allows you to easily add spell checking functionality in any Adobe Flex® 3 or Flex 4 based text control.

Squiggly prerelease 2 update includes support for the Flex 4 Spark components that are based on the Adobe Text Layout Framework (TLF). We have also added support for user dictionaries, which allow individual users to augment the spell checking dictionary with the words of their choice. Flash Player 10 for 64-bit Linux Refresh Available

Furthering Adobe's commitment to the Linux community and as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player, an alpha refresh of 64-bit Adobe Flash Player 10 for Linux operating systems was released on December 8, 2009 and is available for download. The Distributable Player Solution beta has ended and the program has been cancelled. The solution is no longer available and will not be brought into production.

If you are interested in continuing to develop mobile applications, we recommend taking a look at developing applications for the iPhone.

For mobile web app and content development, we recommend you participate in the Flash Player 10.1 beta program.

Adobe Story Preview Update Now Available on Labs

Adobe® Story, a collaborative script development tool designed for creative professionals, producers, and writers working on or with scripts and screenplays. This preview version will let you try out a few of the scriptwriting tools that will be part of the overall features in the final version of Story.

Flex Builder for Linux Alpha 4 Now Available on Labs

Flex Builder Linux is a plugin-only version of the Flex Builder that you can use to build Flex applications on Linux.

The Flex Builder Linux alpha download was updated on 11/24/2009 in response to user feedback and incorporates an Eclipse plugin version of the Flex Builder software that you can use to build Flex applications on Linux.
