Flex is a great program, promising great flexibility and features. I would like to report a bug in flash player 8.5.FileReference.download doesn't seems to work with this player. After downloading a file and when download is complete it seems to fail writing the file to disk.
Error : An input/output error occurs while the player is reading, writing, or transmitting the file. With flash player 8.0 the problem doesn't exist. Thank you in advance for reading my comments.

Flex 2 is very nice.

Can you add the additional Chart components into the standard Flex2 installer?

Thanks for the feedback Harris. Please be sure to submit this bug report in the Flash Player 8.5 forum:

We may have fixed this bug in a recent build of the Flash Player so you may want to hold off on reporting this issue until you can try the next build that we release on Labs.

Hi Meisi,

The Charting Components are being delivered as a different installer because they are seen as an add-on to Flex. They may be included in the core installer in the future, but for the time being they will continue to be seperate. Please feel free to discuss this further in one of the Labs forums relating to Flex.

I filled out the survey and was brought to a blank page. That's not exactly a friendly way to say thanks for taking the time ...

The survey controls are bad. Images? When I was brought to the empty page I hit the back button to see if I did anything wrong and all of the image controls were blank. The real controls were still filled in because the browser handles that.

Hopefully something from my responses will be useful ... assuming they got through.

Flex in general has been great, and Flex 2 is no exception. However, I'd still like to see more affordable pricing structure for the Flex Enterprise part.

Hi Lab Folk! I would be glad to comment, However, with dial-up, the standalone Flex 2 Installer is a freakin' NightMare! My ISP keeps dumping me when I start the download, but only when I leave the room(Spoooky! :)) Would you all be able to compress these installers into a .zip or WinRar archive,???? Please give a poor dude a break, I'm trying to afford DSL, but my friend with 8 meg cable just doesn't understand why I'm always over there? You guys know, Huh? Thanks, and asap, I will download from his Big Pipeline, and respond with my views, thanks again, keep up the good work Adobe Labs!!!!!! !!
