Following up on the Developer Center article and demo published in 2006, the Flex team has released their Ajax Data Services on Adobe Labs. This technology is a JavaScript library that lets Ajax developers access the messaging and data management capabilities of Flex Data Services directly from JavaScript; it lets you use Flex clients and Ajax clients that share data in the same messaging application or distributed data application. The fourth release of the Flex-Ajax Bridge has been released within the Adobe Labs wiki. For those new to this project, the Flex-Ajax Bridge is a small, unobtrusive code library that you can insert into an Adobe Flex application, a Flex component, or even an empty SWF file to expose it to scripting in the browser. We have released the first prerelease of the new Flash Media Encoder on Adobe Labs. The Flash Media Encoder is designed to enable technical producers to capture audio and video while streaming it live to Flash Media Server (FMS) or the Flash Video Streaming Service (FVSS).

All releases (Macintosh, Windows, and Linux) of Flash Player 9 Update are now shipping on Adobe.com and are no longer available on Adobe Labs. Final Mac and Windows versions became available on November 14th and the Linux version was called final on January 16th. See the release notes for details regarding changes in the update release of Flash Player 9.
Today we released the Flex 2 Tag Library for JSP through the Adobe Labs wiki. This library is a collection of tags that allow for embedding Flex applications within a JSP page. Please see the above links for more information or download and install the tag library.
The ASDoc technology is now shipping as part of the Flex SDK within the Flex 2.0.1 Update release and is no longer hosted on Adobe Labs.
