Adobe® AIR® 3 introduces enhanced features that provide developers a consistent and flexible development environment for the delivery of out-of-browser applications across devices and platforms.
This beta release includes support for the AIR desktop runtime. The AIR SDK will be made available in a future release on Adobe Labs, which will allow developers to build mobile and desktop applications that take advantage of new AIR 3 capabilities including captive runtime support, Stage 3D graphics rendering and Stage Video hardware acceleration. For this beta release, we are requesting developers test their applications for backward compatibility.
AIR Launchpad v2.5.0 (beta 5) is now available on Labs. Languages supported are English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese. See a complete list of changes in Adobe AIR Launchpad 2.5.0.
