Adobe® Configurator is a utility that enables the easy creation of panels (palettes) for use in Adobe Photoshop® CS4, Adobe Photoshop® CS5 and Adobe InDesign® CS5. Configurator makes it easy to drag and drop tools, menu items, scripts, actions, and other objects into a panel design, then export the results for use in Photoshop or InDesign.
Configurator is ideally suited for Photoshop or InDesign users — such as authors, trainers and other experts — who want to customize the application interface without learning Flash, Flex & ActionScript.
Configurator is free for anyone to use. Running the panels it generates requires installing Photoshop or InDesign.
Adobe InDesign® API Navigator prerelease is a new development tool for InDesign C++ plug-in developers. It works as an add-in for Visual Studio on Windows and as a plug-in for Xcode on Mac OSX. It makes IDE (Visual Studio/Xcode) more powerful for InDesign C++ plug-in development.
Following the release of kuler 2.1 on Adobe Labs, a new version of the kuler desktop application is now available for download. Use the kuler desktop to browse color themes from the kuler website while online and offline, and load kuler themes directly into Creative Suite 3 applications (Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe InDesign®). An update of the kuler online application is now available for use. kuler 2.1 adds support for creating themes using existing images stored in Flickr. Try kuler and explore, create, and share color themes to inspire your projects and enrich your designs.
