Adobe® Flash® Player “Square” is a preview release that enables native 64-bit support on Linux, Mac OS, and Windows operating systems, as well as enhanced support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 beta.
We have made this preview available so that users can test existing content and new platforms for compatibility and stability. Because this is a preview version of Flash Player, we don’t expect it to be as stable as a final release version of Flash Player. Use caution when installing Flash Player “Square” on production machines.

Coinciding with this week’s Adobe Creative Suite 4 announcements, Adobe has announced a new online service, Adobe InContext Editing. This new service will allow web content authors to create, manage, share and control editable pages in minutes without compromising design integrity. The free public preview of this service will begin when Adobe Creative Suite ships in October. This feed will keep you updated.

New downloads of the Pixel Bender Toolkit are now available from Adobe Labs. This Pixel Bender Toolkit Preview Release 4 includes a high-performance graphics programming language that Adobe is developing for image processing, named Pixel Bender (previously codenamed Hydra), and an application to create, compile and preview Pixel Bender filters and effects. The toolkit contains a specification for the Pixel Bender language, several sample filters, and sample images provided by Pixel Bender team members.

In conjunction with the release of the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.3 update on Adobe.com, a new Lightroom Export SDK is now available for download from Adobe Labs. This public prerelease provides a Software Development Kit that will allow developers to enable communication from the Lightroom 1.3 Export Dialog to third party tools, web sites or devices.
