print module: I would like to be able printing borderless directly from lightroom versus going back and forth to propriety printer software (e.g. epson easy print)

[Borderless printing is available in all versions of Lightroom but you need to select the borderless page option in the Page Setup dialog. -TH]

pretty stupid idea to disable the noise reduction.

I don't know where to report beta bugs - would be nice if your beta software included a menu to take the user there, and captured config etc. to help you - (maybe this exists and I don't know how to access it...) Generally it's behaving ok, sharpening seems better (edges) and detail better especially on overexposed shots...

Vista 64 - beta 3 - when I exit, I get the following error:

Faulting application lightroom.exe, version 3.0.0.1, time stamp 0x4add0f26, faulting module CameraRaw.dll, version 3.0.0.1, time stamp 0x4add0ee6, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x000000000000a451, process id 0x10b0, application start time 0x01ca54e76db49701.

New print functions are awesome...almost - need to have the capability of rotating an image on 90 degree increments.

In the develop module I would like to see the ability to remove develop actions from the History panel on a line-by-line basis so when one is finished developing a print all that is left are the develop actions that were used rather than the copious trial and error actions creating a very confusing and long history.

why they have enabled ony color noise reduction?

i know it´s a beta but how can you really use and test it when you have only color noise reduction?

why not enable the old luminance noise reduction too?

Hello ! Maybee will you be interested in an other "deep view" of LR3ß in French to add to your list ?

Hi -

Sorry to post here, but I cannot find the way to post a question to the Lightroom forum, there is not option to do so. I guess that would be my first question! ;>)

Real issue of the moment is that I'm processing 3200 RAW files, a time lapse, and I've set my develop settings by testing a few images from the sequence only to import them using that preset and find that the computer stops thinking about anything that isn't shown on the screen. All the thumbnails shown get processed, but then it just quits.

Lightroom 2.5
Camera Raw 5.5
Mac Mini 1.66 Intel Duo
OS 10.4.11

Files stored on an external drive and writing to that same drive.

Help, please, I sure don't want to have to do this manually!

Thanks,

Rich

sorry but i tried capture one v5.... and its still a lot better then LR when it comes to image quality.

way to go adobe!!

this ADOBE guy challenges all CAPTURE ONE user to show that CAPTURE ONE on is better then LIGHTROOM:

is there a rough estimation when L3 will be released?

is it 3 month or 6 month?

Mi review en español, para los interesados: lightroom beta 3, mejoras y algunas faltantes. Espero que le sirva y aquí pongo el link:

As someone who regularly produces slide presentations of 20/25 mins duration, I was dismayed to find that version 3 allows only one piece of background music. Does this mean I need to artificially join 4/5 pieces of music together in order to prevent repetition.
Or has someone else found a workaround?
Or should I stick with 2.6?

I've yet to start using the beta - my main requirement from any new version is co-operation and collaboration capabilities.
The ability to create shared libraries and keywords is extremely important - otherwise we have to have 2 or more identical libraries/keyword files which must be synchronised manually between computers.

Is the new version going to be more group-friendly?
