May/June User Group Events

The Twin Cities Lightroom User Group will meet Wednesday, May 13, 2009, from 7-9PM.

Topics and speakers include:

Rick Spaulding will talk about the latest in digital SLR equipment – everything from camera bodies, to lenses and flashes.

Rikk Flohr, professional photographer and trainer, will discuss his Lightroom HDR worklow and using external editors in Lightroom – including Enfuse and the Photomatix LR Plugin.

Craig Marble, Senior Lightroom QE Lead, will give out some insider tips about presets in Lightroom.

March User Group Event

The Twin Cities Lightroom User Group will meet this Wednesday, March 11, 2009, from 7-9PM.

Topics and speakers include:

Rikk Flohr, professional photographer and trainer, will discuss installing and configuring a custom PayPal web gallery in Lightroom’s Web Module.

Steve Bye, Adobe Certified Instructor and Lightroom beta tester, will share some Library/Develop tips and tricks.

Jeff Tranberry, Photoshop Product Lead and Lightroom Evangelist, will talk about 3rd party plug-ins, Plug-in Manager, and the community around Lightroom Extensibility.

User Group Events

There are two user group events this evening, Wednesday, January 14th.

The Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley, CA are hosting Photoshop Product Manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes, talking about Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS4, starting at 7pm.

The Twin Cities Lightroom User Group will meet tonight at Easel Training in Saint Paul, MN, at 7pm. Topics include catalogs, backing-up & moving your data, and Lightroom/Photoshop interop. Engineers from the Lightroom & Photoshop teams will be on hand to help answer questions.
