You may receive the below error while creating an application in workbench:-
Failed to create application, please check if application name contains invalid string.
This is because the service provider has been changed to a value other than RepositoryProviderService. Restore it back and you’ll be able to create applications in workbench. Please follow below steps to do this:-
1.) Open LiveCycle Administration Console in a browser.
2.) Click on Services –> Applications and Services –> Service Management.
3.) Then, in the search box type “repository” and click on “RepositoryService : 1.0″.
4.) Update the value to “RepositoryProviderService” (without quotes) and click Save.
You can now go on and create new applications in workbench.
