Introduction
Welcome to my first blog. As I mentioned in my ‘About’ description, I’ve been a Developer Evangelist for the past 5 years at Adobe. However, I’ve been employed by Adobe for 9 years in total. I spend all of my time talking about PDF: PDF as a standard (like PDF/A and PDF/E); PDF in Acrobat or Reader; PDF & XML in our LiveCycle products.
I’m a bit nervous about blogging, so bear with me as I learn the ropes.

It’s about time! I’m a diehard Macromedia developer and we’ve been worried about the Adobe takeover of Macromedia.
One of the greatest things Macromedia does for its endusers is provide a host of blogs where engineers, project managers, support staff, and developers all contribute to the body of knowledge for Macromedia products.
Check out http://weblogs.macromedia.com/mxna/ – hopefully Adobe can continue this great Macromedia tradition.
Nice to see Adobe launch a weblog – well done – but it would be even better if you could fix your ecommerce platform so it allows me to place an order for CS2. (My current credit card has less than 30 days to run so your website refuses it yet I can’t use my replacement card as it isn’t valid until the current one expires. Adobe customer services advised me to just wait 15 days! I have no such problem with recently-acquired Macromedia.)
great to see Adobe joining the blogosphere.

I’m very excited to see what kind of content appears on Adobe Blogs. I use Acrobat and Distiller daily and look forward to whatever you might tell us about it–tips, development, and even a little of the daily grind with your PDF-making coworkers!
Lori – welcome to the world of blogs. I hope you keep us updated about new and exciting things.
