Acrobat 8 commercial plug-ins released

I'm happy to report that Quite Software just released updated versions of all of their Acrobat plug-ins for full Acrobat 8 compatibility (including Universal Binary for Macintosh). That's one week from product release. I think this is a record. Check out the updated plug-ins here.

After my first post - I was gently reminded that other announced their plug-in support as well this week:

  • FileOpen has all of their plug-ins ready for Acrobat 8.
  • callas software has announced support for Acrobat 8.

I guess I need to do my homework!

    Lori,

Just wondering....is there a plug-in for Acrobat that can be used as an "Item Counter"? I work on a lot of construction plans in the PDF format that require counting. Also, a plug-in that would allow for "one click markup. Please advise!

    Lori,
Is there a "plug-in" for Adobe 8 that allows for counting. I do a lot of take-off from electronic plans which most of the time come to me in PFD form and all items like lighting fixtures, switches, etc must be counted. When ever I do one of these, I have to convert it to an OCS file "On Center" Software is a plan viewer that allows for "click counting". It would be so much easier if I was able to do it in Adobe and not have to do all the fancy foot work!

    Thanks, Pete
