Help & Tutorial | Import, Relink Media in Adobe Premiere Pro

The first step to editing a video is to bring your media into Premiere Pro. For any video that you want to edit, you will need to import assets, like video and audio, into your Premiere Pro project.

You can import files into Premiere Pro by using the Import dialog box or by using the Media Browser. The Media Browser is especially helpful in navigating through complex file structures to get to the files you need, giving you quick access to all your assets while you edit your video.

Even when you move assets between computers or hard disks, or rename your files, Premiere Pro makes it easy to locate and relink offline or missing media assets.

To get you up and running with media management in Premiere Pro, we have a hands-on video tutorial and a bunch of detailed Help articles.
