Want to learn nitty-gritty details about the Flash Player and Tamarin?

Rick Reitmaier is an engineer on the Flash Player team (formerly of the Flex team) and gave a talk at Stanford a few months ago about the virtual machine used by Flash Player 9 (AVM2). This is the stuff that we've contributed to the Tamarin project. The first 20 minutes or so are getting the folks in the room up to speed on Adobe/Flex, etc, but he begins getting deeper after that.

Check it out! ETA: (unfortunately this is Windows Media)

Very cool. FYI, it looks like the link is Windows-only. At least it doesn't work on my Intel Mac.

Link worked for me on Intel Mac (MacBookPro), but I had to use Windows Media Player to open it.

I'm not getting any sound on two different windows machines using Windows Media Player 11... any suggestions?

Thanks

In the beginning of the Video she mentions the Adobe Platinum Leed certification. What she doesn't mention is that the Adobe building automation system is made with Flex 2 / AS3 by Integrated Building Solutions which was part of the Leed certification.

I will be very happy to know any web to learn details about flash player
