Spotlight Search Plugin for ActionScript

I have created a simple plugin for Spotlight search on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), that allows Spotlight to index ActionScript files. This will allow you to use Spotlight to search for terms / functions / code, etc within ActionScript files on your system.

NOTE, THIS CODE AND PLUGIN IS NOT SUPPORTED BY MACROMEDIA. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This is a very Alpha version of the plugin.

You can download the plugin from here.

Installation instructions are included in the readme file within the zip.

If you have any bug fixes, problems, recommendations, etc…, just post them in the comments.

by the way, i really appreciated this system message when removing my spotlight index:We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local SystemAdministrator. It usually boils down to these three things:#1) Respect the privacy of others.#2) Think before you type.#3) With great power comes great responsibility.

just a warning for some of y’all who are about to delete the spotlight index, mine is estimating that it is going to take up to 5 hours to re-index.
