Adobe MAX Conference

If you're developing solutions with Adobe software, then you should probably book off October 22nd to the 26th... That's when the first Adobe MAX conference will be taking place, in Las Vegas. MAX was the name of Macromedia's largest show, and it will be continuing this year in October. More details should be coming in the next little while.

Exciting news for sure Mike! Will this event cover all Adobe products, or only the aquired Macromedia ones. Specifically, will Acrobat and PDF be covered by this event?
Looking forward to hearing more about this in the coming weeks.

You have an excellent blog btw :)

[Honestly, we just found out the dates in an email on Friday. Details will be posted as I get more of them. - Mike]

Hi Mike,

A little bit off post, but are you aware of any other CF / Adobe conferences worldwide around the first 2 weeks in August 2006?

Thanks in Advance
Nev (Perth Western Australia)
[No, sorry, I don't know of any other Adobe conferences worldwide at that time. - Mike]

Can't wait! Flex 2, Flash/Flex Lite, "Blaze", Apollo, DW9, FW9, oh baby!

Hey Mike, could you post any news you find on the expected highlights of MAX 2006? The current buzz suggests that frameworks, AJAX, and Flex are "the next big things".

[I think that's probably a safe bet (that there will be a big focus on AJAX and Flex), but we're also working really hard to add in the "traditional" Adobe products, especially Acrobat (did you know you could put JavaScript inside a PDF document?) and LiveCycle. I'll post new blog entries as I learn things. - Mike]
