Citizens for Global Solutions Flash Movie Contest

We love this:

In the Citizens for Global Solututions 2006 Flash Movie Contest, young artists and designers were asked to create short films using Flash answering these two questions: Why do global problems matter to Americans? What should America do about them?

Stats about the contest:
*More than 9,000 people from all over the world participated
*Submitted entries came from 14 countries and 5 continents
*More than one-third of the finalists either wrote or recorded their own music for their films
*Connected with 600 teachers (high school and college) across the U.S. who teach Flash in their classrooms
*The ages of the finalists range from 14 to 32

Today is the last day for voting, and winners will be announced tomorrow!

Acrobat Tracker Tip

From Ali Hanyaloglu, Acrobat Technical Evangelist: Acrobat 7.0's Tracker tool (Comments > Tracker is one way to get to it) is primarily used for keeping an eye on review cycles you've initiated or are participating in, whether it was sent by email or uploaded for a browser-based review session. However, it also has another purpose: it's an RSS or Atom news feed reader.

"So what? I have one of those." you may ask. Well, to add the feed to Tracker, click the Services button on the Tracker toolbar and choose "Subscribe...". Enter the URL for the RSS or Atom feed and Tracker will add it as a new entry in the left pane. As well as aggregating a feed, you can right-click on the feed entry on the right side of Tracker and select "Convert to PDF". Acrobat will generate a new PDF that lists the entries from the feed. You can then use this like any other PDF: view it offline, keep it as an archive, combine it with other PDF documents and pages, and share it with others.

Join us for a special Acrobat in Nonprofit eSeminar coming up on May 24th. Register now!
