This past Tuesday, I was lucky enough to attend the NetSquared Conference up in San Jose. Our Nonprofit Program at Adobe was sponsoring this event, and the Adobe Foundation Fund had given grants to bring people from all over the world to this event. This was a really fabulous conference, bringing together members of the nonprofit community to discuss how internet technologies can drive social change.
The speakers were all very knowledgeable and passionate, and the breakout sessions were highly informative. I certainly benefitted on a personal level as well, knowing that these organizations were becoming more and more empowered to drive their cause and help others via technology. I was disappointed that my schedule hadn't allowed me to stay for the entire event, but I got a good taste of what is was all about. I want to find out more about how Adobe software is being used to these ends. Feel free to post your creative ideas as comments!
