Prerelease Server Issues

Just a quick note that the download section of our Prerelease servers will be unavailable for the next couple of days. We should be back up and running by end of day Monday 1/24 PST. We apologize for any inconvenience and we are sure that you will find something on the internet to distract you in the meantime.

Prerelease Testers Needed

Edited: Thank you all for your response. We’ve now reached our quota of prerelease testers. No more prerelease testers will be accepted at this time.

To those of you who responded in a comment directly here, I have your contact info and will be sending you email directly. I prefer not to publish your contact info as comments on the blog for all the world to see.

Happy New Year!

We are exploring a different licensing solution in the near future and are looking for prerelease testers to help us ensure the quality of the solution exceeds earlier Adobe Creative Suite releases. If you’d like to help, please drop me a line.

Prerelease testers will receive beta versions of an upcoming Adobe Creative Suite release with a different licensing solution. The testers will be expected to install, activate and do some minimal product usage. Any problems or bugs found should be raised. Information about how to install, test and clean up systems afterwards will be sent to users who contact me showing interest.

The prerelease testing process will last two months starting on January 13th, 2011. A Mac or Windows system without other Adobe products on it will be needed to perform the testing.

A ‘Thank You’ gift will be made available to prerelease testers.

If you’re interested, please send me email directly by January 11th, 2011. We want to limit access to less than 100 users, so please respond quickly. Information needed in your response includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company
  • Role in corporation

Thanks for your help and feedback. My direct email address is: ewilde@adobe.com
