Welcome to the Oz Creative Pro Blog!

I should start off by introducing myself, I am Steve Nichols, an application specialist with Adobe Systems. I began working for Adobe in February 2005 although I have been working in the design industry for around 15 years. During that time I have freelanced and trained for a variety of companies and industries. One thing that has always been clear to me is that you really never stop learning. So I would like to use this blog as a medium to let people know what is new, cool, or has been in the software for years and I have seen people are yet to know!

Mike Stoddart and myself spend a lot of time travelling around Australiasia telling people about key aspects of Adobe software. Often after showing a great many features and methods over a short space of time people come up to us and ask "where can I find out more?" "where can I get some training?" "do you have all that in notes on the web?" etc etc. So this is the perfect launching point for a lot of that information. The first valuable link is Mike presenting Creative Suite 2 in our June 2005 roadshow .

Where do I find information? Often I forget! This blog will also be a great reminder for me of where I have found valuable snippets on the web or elsewhere.

So this is the first of many posts that is intended to give news and views with an Antipodean slant, come back for more, soon!

YAY!

I went to the Adobe Creative Suite roadshow here in Auckland and it was great. Having been to the Tips'n'Tricks seminar previously - I think you guys do an awesome job! So so much information and enthusiasm - really worth taking the time off to attend.

I'm looking forward to following your blog and your interesting linkages.

I attended the CS2 Roadshow in Melbourne, and it was simply amazing. Not long afterwards, I started a new job, where I discovered to my delight they already had CS2, and so I have been able to put into practice many of the fantastic features I saw demonstrated so admirably by Mike and Steve. Thank you for such an inspiring roadshow.
