This question has come up a number of times recently and the information is out there but can be hard to find.
You can display and print a PDF file with Acrobat and Adobe Reader from the command line. These commands are unsupported, but have worked for some developers. There is no documentation for these commands other than what is listed here.
I hope that helps.

Hi, your link above is currently invalid. If you get this and it is possible to use acrord32.exe to print a pdf from command line in windows, please let me know, Thanks
I’ve updated the post with the new URL – thanks for catching it.

Is there a way to automatically print a PDF file to a printer and specify for the print job to “Fit to Printable Area”? When I try to print pdf files using command line it just prints it as if you’re looking at the file at 100% which is a problem because some files I’m trying to print will not fit.
Unfortunately, “Fit to Printable Area” is not an option from the command line. The complete set of command line switches is documented at the URL below.

Thank you Joel. Is there another way to do this without using the command line, like through .net code? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything. I need to be able to automatically print these documents correctly.
Look in the Acrobat SDK under OLE Automation.
