Great news, please update http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/enterprise_deployment.html
to reflect this as it still says “TBD” for 10.x
Those updates are in process – stay tuned.
Hi Joel,
Your blog has been helpful, thank you. Do you know of any documentation that explains how to add custom stamps inside the Customization Wizard. I see the Files and Folders option, however, specifically, where do I move the stamp files?
Thank you.
Stamps would go in the folder below. That one is a little harder to find than the others.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps
Roy: There is no Customization Wizard for the Mac. Can you please clarify what you mean?
I have extracted the AdbeRdr1010_en_US.exe and opened it with the Adobe Customization Wizard X. After I have amde my changes can I repackage this back into a single MSI?
No – The MST and MSI are designed to work in conjunction with each other.
Is there a Customization Wizard for Foxit? The only reason to install adobe is if you want to be the victim of a zero day exploit. Ever wonder why adobe has so many updates? It’s because their produce is riddled with security holes. What moron decided to add flash and multimedia to adobe? IDIOTS!
Hi Jim,
Assuming you mean “install Acrobat/Reader” instead of “Adobe” (the name of the company and not the product), then you are incorrect. Aside from the regular quarterly updates which provide feature enhancements, over the last 15 months there have only been 2 out of cycle security updates for 10.x products. This is due to features like Protected Mode (sandboxing) and other trust-related features. There are a number of changes coming which will eliminate any Flash related zero days.
