Some customers who updated to Acrobat 9.4.2 have been experiencing printing problems.
After updating to Acrobat 9.4.2, one of the following occurs when you print to a printer from Acrobat:
- Error: "Before you can perform print-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer."
- Nothing happens when you click the OK button in the Print dialog. For example, no progress bar appears and nothing is printed.
We just released a technote to help remedy this problem.
You can find the technote here.
UPDATE: We re-released the 9.4.2 patch. If you have not already applied the patch, you can simply reboot your system and the updater will fetch the newer version and then you don’t need to go through the process outlined in the technote.

This problem is fixed in the 9.4.3 update. See the release notes at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/891/cpsid_89178.html.
All Documents are cut off at the bottom.
Help!
You may need to adjust the printer margins in the Printer set up dialog or instruct Acrobat to shrink to fit.
I am and have been having issues with Adobe .pdf files printing on a few of our computers. The image is fine on the screen, however the printed page prints the text in some mixed up text. Really wasting a lot paper, ink and time. Has anyone ever encountered this? How do I correct it?
You might try posting this to the Acrobat user-to-user forums, it’s nearly impossible to diagnose these kinds of issues without having access to your specific environment. http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat
