Lightroom Killer Tips

By now, most of you have visited the Community Help portal page for Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, and other CS4 applications. You know the page I mean—the Help and Support page you land on en route to each product’s Help on the web:

http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshop/
http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshoplightroom/
http://www.adobe.com/support/bridge/

We add content to those pages on a regular basis, and I thought I’d use this blog to tell you more about some of the sites and presenters we feature there, so you can check them out on your own.

I’ll start with Matt Kloskowski, whose website is http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/. Matt has a knack for explaining features in simple, clear terms; his videos are short and sweet; he covers a wide range of topics; and he posts new content frequently—including weekly tips and presets. His videos are great for beginners, which is why we asked him to create a series of Lightroom Getting Started videos for us (see http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/lightroom/articles/lir2am_videotutorials.html).

Here are some of this recent killer tips:

Erasing the Graduated Filter: http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/2008/video-erasing-the-graduated-filter/.

Options for shooting tethered into Lightroom: http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/2008/options-for-shooting-tethered-into-lightroom/.

Folders and hard drives in Lightroom 2: http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/2008/video-folders-and-hard-drives-in-lr2/.

Lightroom, Photoshop, and color spaces: http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/2008/video-lightroom-photoshop-and-color-spaces/.

I'll tell you about other sites and presenters in future posts. Meanwhile, if you come across great content you’d like us to feature on a Help and Support page, let us know by emailing lightroom dash help dash feedback at adobe dot com.
