Photoshop.com Community FAQ
January 25, 2010 11:03 AM By: aghini | 3 Comments
Just to make it easier to find answers all in one place, we’ve decided to create a single FAQ page. If you’ve got a question and you don’t see it here, just add your question as a comment to this blog post, or tweet us your question to @photoshopdotcom – our engineers are standing by with answers!
Q: How can I download the Photoshop.com Mobile Android app? (via @iusher)
A: Visit our product page and point your Android phone at the barcode – this should bring you right to the application on the Android Market, where you can download the app for free.
Q: Is the Photoshop.com Mobile Android app available globally? (via @akpetteroe)
A: Yes! The global version of the Android app was released last November – you should be able to download the app globally by visiting our product page from any country with an Android Market.
Q: When will Photoshop.com be available for Windows Mobile? (via @1stAngel)
A: It’s already available! Check out our product page for Windows Mobile.
Q: Can I upload photos to other photo sharing sites using the Photoshop.com Mobile for Android app? (via @brownpau)
A: Using your Photoshop.com account, you can share photos seamlessly with Flickr, Photobucket, Picasa and Facebook by logging in from your desktop or laptop browser. Currently the Android app does not directly interface with other photo sharing sites, but we’ve passed this feature request on to our development team!
New Mobile Photo Editing Features & Video Playback

All New Features Added to Photoshop.com Mobile for iPhone 1.1 Update
Stop the presses! Well, wait – keep the presses going; I don’t want my Wall Street Journal subscription interrupted. Presses aside, I do want to briefly mention that the Photoshop.com Mobile team released a nice little update to the Photoshop.com Mobile iPhone application.
Mobile Photo Editing
Version 1.1 adds some cool new editing features – including a new straighten tool, sharpen and contrast filters, as well as some nice borders that you can put around your photos. I don’t know about you, but the sharpen tool will come in quite handy for me because I cannot hold a camera still for the life of me. And putting a tripod under my iPhone just seems plain silly. Plus I can’t fit one in my pocket.
Video Playback
In addition to those exciting editing features, we’ve added the ability to playback video that you have stored on your Photoshop.com account. That’s right – just whip out your iPhone the next time you find yourself with friends or family and regale them with your video clips from last summer’s trip to the fabulous shores of Waikiki.
So, if you find yourself in possession of an iPhone or iPod Touch, please take a quick trip to the App Store and download the 1.1 update for your iPhone by clicking this link.
