Sample of One-Point Perspective Drawing and Perpendicular Movement

Perspective Drawing of a Room

I designed the layout of the room using 1-point perspective. This was a simpler to get the first set of measurements correctly. Then I switched to 2-point perspective to draw the right side wall. The intricacy was to get the accurate intersection points to draw the right wall. Once the layout was in place, it wasn’t too difficult to get to the other elements of the room.

The lighting shaft was easy with the perpendicular movement using the perspective selection tool. I used to create a couple of other things like the open drawer of the lower shaft on the right wall and the central partition in the lower shaft.

Rest of the look was mostly use of some great Illustrator effects, texturizing, and gradients!
