Jan Janowski asked in a thread on the Community Help forum if we could provide all of the PDF versions of the Help documents (manuals, user guides, documentation) for the Creative Suite applications in one place.

Here you go, Jan.

User guides (also known as Help)

Here’s a list of user guides (Help documents), with links to the PDF and HTML versions, plus a link to the main Help & Support home page for each application, which has links to various supplementary documents. These are just the English-language documents. I gave links to some documents in other languages here.

Other documents in the Help system, including reference documents

Several applications have additional documents, including API references, programmer’s guides, and other resources for creating and using extensions. For those documents, see the respective home pages for the documents listed above.

The After Effects links work fine for me. Try saving the file rather than opening it in the browser. It's a big file.]

I have the CS4 manuals. I am not saying I have to have the manuals but they do come in handy. I purchased CS5 and expected to have the same, to have a set of manuals that I can read and get away from the computer screen is great. You may want to rethink about putting the manuals in print. It is a benefit all CS Master Collection customers I believe expect. Maybe include the manuals when some one purchases the Master Collection. I am not saying for free. The manuals are worth paying extra.

I thank you for this page, and if anyone is fortunate enough like me to have one of those new nifty IPAD’s, all you need to do is save the manuals you are looking for and then transfer them to the IPAd and now you have print in fornt of you while working. Just like me!!!!]

    Thanks again for this!

    Dafe.

To be honest, this just isn’t good enough. Why don’t Adobe ship all the searchable help with the products anymore? We have no internet access at work, so can’t download the updates, or help files, and a PDF just doesn’t cut it I’m afraid.

Please can we have a standalone installation of the help files? This is all we need and it’s really not much to ask!

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

Those are fine questions and requests for the people who make the decisions. I'm just the person who's trying to make the best of the current situation.
