Last month at DevLearn 2013 conference, I participated in the 9th Annual eLearning DemoFest event and showcased an Interactive eBook on how to use Adobe Presenter to create eLearning courses. There were 81 participants at DemoFest showing off their latest and greatest development efforts, offering the DevLearn conference attendees an opportunity to see a wide variety of solutions to common eLearning challenges, and information about the tools, technologies and processes they used to build them. Flipped Classroom (sometimes called flipped teaching) is an approach to education that blends both online instruction and offline learning. Generally in Flipped Classrooms the online learning is done with videos and quizzes offered offline and this gives the teacher more time to spend engaging directly with learners in activities and exercises during class.

Scenarios and near-real stories add life to eLearning courses and make the content look and sound more meaningful. It also makes it easy for the students to understand concepts by looking at the examples and taking decisions in the scenario. They get a perfect simulated environment to practice the skills or modify behavior and the best part with scenario-based learning is that they are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them, without causing any harm whatsoever.
In spite of these benefits, you will find very few people creating scenario-based courses. Most of them rather settle for information-heavy eLearning courses. They confess that they understand the value of creating a scenario-based course, but they opt for a page-turner as it takes a lot of effort and time to design and build scenarios. So to lessen the burden for eLearning developers, we’ve introduced scenario templates in Adobe Presenter 9 which can be used to build decision points inside an eLearning course. What does it do?
At it’s core, Adobe Presenter allows anyone to easily convert Microsoft PowerPoint projects to either videos or interactive applications. Whether you want learners to interact with instructors or potential customers to interact with you and your team you’ll find that the collaboration tools are ideal for hosting social interaction. Educators will especially enjoy this option as it effectively re-introduces class discussion into courses and it makes the experience even more powerful by tracking the interactions that students have with you and one another, encouraging robust communication.
