$2000 Top Prize in the Adobe Change the World Challenge

I’m thrilled to share that Adobe has announced an amazing competition for students and teachers ages 13 and up. It’s an awesome chance to strut your creative stuff and compete for fantastic big money prizes. Top prize is $2000 with a $1000 second prize and a $500 third prize.

Now money can be good. It can even be awesome. But what’s really awesome about this contest is that participants will get a chance to show off their creativity, and express their ideas about a social issue that matters to them. In this contest, entrants will create a short video (using the new Adobe Presenter Video Creator) that explains how they would Change the World for the better. Update available for Adobe Presenter Mobile App!

We recently released an update for Adobe Presenter Mobile App for iPad. It has few bug fixes, as well as some enhancements. To showcase these enhancements, I thought of creating a Presenter course.

When I was immersed in the thoughts of which topic to choose, I heard my third grader mumbling ‘What makes living things different?’, and that instantly became the topic for my course. Announcing Adobe Presenter 8 with new support for 64-bit MS PowerPoint.

You are no longer forced to use the 32-bit version of MS Office, just because you want to create PowerPoint based eLearning. The new 64-bit Presenter 8 now works with your 64-bit MS PowerPoint.

How do you find out if you have 32-bit or 64-bit of MS-Office? It’s very simple, open MS PowerPoint and go to File> ‘About Microsoft PowerPoint’> … it would show you if it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Do remember, there are separate installers for 32-bit and 64-bit version of Adobe Presenter. So, when you are downloading the installer, make sure you select the correct one.
