Serv-U FTP: Contribute can't complete a publish
TechNote: While using Macromedia Contribute to publish to a server with Serv-U FTP controlling the FTP accounts, an empty dialog box appears, then a JavaScript error. After clicking "Ok", Contribute will generate a page that appears to be half published. Attempting to do anything else in Contribute will result in a crash.

Contribute modifies links that go through a proxy server
Contribute modifies hyperlinks that go through a proxy server (for example: http://proxy.com/url?=http://intranet.com) when a user enters it in the Web Adress (URL) field. After the page is published, the link changes to http://proxy.com/url?=http%3Aintranet.com.

(Hot fix) This TechNote provides a link to the JRun4 hot fix jar file which contains the fix for the following JRun defect:
60391 - The content-type header field was not properly set when the URL included a semicolon (";") character.

ColdFusion MX 7 clustering configures without errors but doesn’t work
(TechNote) When running ColdFusion MX 7 in the multiserver configuration, the Enterprise Manager can create connector-based clusters. However, if MultiCasting is not enabled on your network, the cluster will not work.

Retain a button's rollover state while rolling over a pop-up menu
TechNote: When the user moves the cursor over a button in a navigation menu in a web browser, the button swaps out the "up" state image and replaces it with the "over" state image. If there is a pop-up menu attached to the button and the user rolls over the pop-up menu, the button with the pop-up menu behavior then swaps back to the "up" state even though the pop-up menu is part of the button's behaviors.

Flex 1.5: Using taglib causes MXML to be recompiled on every request

Flash Player 7 does not render dynamic or input text as justified
TechNote: Although it is possible beginning with Macromedia Flash Player MX 2004 to use justify alignment on Dynamic and Input text, Macromedia Flash Player 7 displays the alignment of such text as left-aligned, not justified.

Hyperlinks to other slides in Breeze Presenter don't convert
(TechNote) Some presentations have links to other slides inside a presentation, such as buttons. These links do not work correctly in converted presentations if the link is in the Master slide.

Multiple domains pointing to one IP address (Virtual servers) causes Contribute to not connect properly
TechNote: If connecting to multiple domains that all point to one IP address, you may run into a connection problem where Macromedia Contribute can only connect to one of the sites, even though multiple sites were defined correctly when creating new site connections.

Unable to access ColdFusion MX Administrator after changing context root to / .
(TechNote) After changing the context root for the ColdFusion MX web application to a forward slash ( / ), all requests for the ColdFusion MX Administrator result in "404 file not found" errors. The browser may display only "404 /CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm."

Flex 1.5 display issue with Firefox on RedHat Linux
(TechNote) When requesting a Flex application from a Firefox 1.0.5 browser on the RedHat Linux platform, you will get a partially displayed SWF. The application shows in a narrow stage pushed to the left hand side of the browser while the rest is clipped off.

Audio levels decrease during a Breeze Meeting

ColdFusion MX 7: Verity custom collection indexing limit of 65520 rows
(TechNote) When indexing data from a database query, the maximum number of rows that can be indexed from the query is 65,520. Attempting to index more than 65,520 rows will appear to succeed, as no error is reported. However, the additional rows will not be indexed.

Breeze Presenter presentation will not play back on a server running IIS 6

Legacy operating systems no longer supported in Flash Player
TechNote: Due to recent enhancements and features added to Macromedia Flash Player 8, certain operating systems are no longer supported for playback of Flash movies. With the Flash Player 8 release, Macromedia Flash Player is no longer avaiable for Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows NT, or classic Macintosh operating systems.

Installing Breeze 5 with Windows IIS
(TechNote) When installing Breeze 5 on a system with Windows IIS running, the dialog warning below prompts the user to abort the installation, uninstall IIS, and start the Breeze installation again. Additionally, if port 80 is in use by IIS (or another service), Breeze 5 will fail to start after it has been installed.

Configuring Breeze Communication and Meeting servers to listen on additional ports
(TechNote) Corporate proxy servers and firewalls often block port 1935 for inbound and outbound traffic on the local area network (LAN). Therefore, a client may not be able to attend a Breeze Meeting through port 1935.
