Charts appear black when used with TileLists

(TechNote) A Macromedia Flex chart (PieChart, BarChart, etc.) may be used as a cell renderer of a TileList. A problem occurs when the TileList's itemWidth and/or itemHeight properties are changed dynamically. The charts will appear either entirely black (as is the case with PieCharts) or partially black.

Cannot create a copy in Contribute of a frameset web page

TechNote: If you choose to create a page based on a frameset web page in Macromedia Contribute, in the New Page dialog box, the Copy of current Page option is dimmed and the following message appears: You cannot create a copy of a page that contains a frameset.

Unable to browse in Contribute to create a link to files other than web pages

TechNote: Creating a link to a file that is not a web page or an image fails in Contribute if you use the Browse button in the Browse tab of the Insert Link dialog box (screen shot below). The link text field remains empty, and text added to that field is not retained once you click OK. This only happens to users on a Macintosh, and does not happen if linking to an image or a web page.

Contribute unable to manage more than 20 SFTP connections

TechNote: Macromedia Contribute administrators attempting to add 20 or more SFTP connections to Contribute Publishing Server will not be able to make a connection via Contribute properly. Contribute will not produce an error message with this issue. It will simply stop working properly.

ColdFusion Report Builder: Charts with a dynamic query

Flash formatted ColdFusion forms do not render in a browser on IIS 5 or IIS 5.1

(TechNote) When using ColdFusion MX 7 with IIS 5 or IIS 5.1, ColdFusion forms that specify flash for the format (cfform format="flash") will not render in a browser if "Check that file exists" is enabled in IIS.

Incorrect timeline effects functionality with Object-level Undo

Best Practice to avoid Breeze Event pages customized with Contribute from reverting to original uncustomized version

(TechNote) Customized/branded Breeze Event pages created with Contribute will revert back to their original uncustomized version if the option of "Save and Rebuild" is selected when editing the event information. If selected, Breeze will erase all changes made with Contribute and revert all pages back to the original uncustomized version.

Best practice using the Breeze Meeting Archive Transcript feature

(TechNote) The technique of using separate layouts to structure your Breeze Meeting is retained in its archive.

When viewing a recording, a user can select the "Archive Transcript" feature, an index of the archive based on layouts. This feature is of particular use to someone interested in listening to certain portions of the recording, rather than all of it.

Best Practice for uploading non-supported images to customize your Breeze meeting room with room backgrounds

(TechNote) Breeze Meeting rooms can be customized using images by selecting the "Room Background" option under the Meeting tab. The current best practice is to use supported images (.jpg or .gif) set at the appropriate size, 800x600 pixels. If you are trying to upload a non-supported image, use the steps listed below as a workaround.
