CSS pop-up menus are not supported in Internet Explorer 5 on Macintosh

Image rollovers do not export as CSS
TechNote: After choosing CSS Layers for the export option when exporting a Macromedia Fireworks 8 file that includes simple rollovers (buttons), the simple rollovers do not work. The resulting HTML page contains only the "up" image(s).

TechNote: Even though I use Macromedia Fireworks 8 to export a pop-up menu, the pop-up menu still uses JavaScript code (it does not use CSS to display the pop-up menu).

MSI error when uninstalling or reinstalling Macromedia Studio 8 products
TechNote: When trying to uninstall or install Macromedia Studio 8 products, you may receive the following error message: "Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance."

Blend modes do not display properly within a symbol
TechNote: After a user adds blend modes such as Screen, Multiply, and Fuzzy Light to objects within a symbol, Macromedia Fireworks 8 does not retain the blends properly on the canvas after exiting the Symbol Editor. This happens whether the objects are bitmaps or vectors.

Retain a button's rollover state while rolling over a pop-up menu
TechNote: When the user moves the cursor over a button in a navigation menu in a web browser, the button swaps out the "up" state image and replaces it with the "over" state image. If there is a pop-up menu attached to the button and the user rolls over the pop-up menu, the button with the pop-up menu behavior then swaps back to the "up" state even though the pop-up menu is part of the button's behaviors.
