05/3/10 Wrap-up: Top 5 Trending Videos this Week

This was an exciting week, with the official announcement of Adobe Captivate 5 and Adobe eLearning Suite 2, and also with the Adobe Technical Communication Suite team attending and presenting at the 57th annual STC Summit in Dallas, TX.

You may have noticed recently that I have been even more active on Twitter and Blogging almost daily and almost always posting a short video, too. The responses have been extremely positive and I thank all of you who have helped spread the word by clicking the ReTweet buttons and sharing with your Twitter followers.

It’s my goal from here on out to provide a weekly wrap-up every Friday, which will include the most trending videos for that week in order to highlight videos that customers are watching the most for that week, and that you may have missed.

Having said that, he are the top 5 trending blog posts and their respective videos for this week:

  1. Say Hello to Adobe Captivate 5 and eLearning Suite 2 ―Now for Mac, too [VIDEO]

Not surprisingly, this video on the brand new user interface in Adobe Captivate 5, has been the number one video watched this week.

Here are a few tweets I’ve favorited about the new UI in Adobe Captivate 5:

  1. Speed Tests between Adobe Captivate 4 and Adobe Captivate 5 [VIDEO]

Again, not a whole lot of surprise why this is the second most watched video this week with the launch of Adobe Captivate 5 and eLearning Suite 2. I wanted to share how much faster Adobe Captivate 5 is over Captivate 4 and the responses have been really positive. Here are a few tweets I saw:

  1. Twitter for Technical Communicators [VIDEO]

This video continues to be a top trending video since I published it and this week was particularly popular, perhaps because the STC conference was taking place and the use of Twitter was at an all time high.

  1. Single-sourcing FrameMaker files in Adobe RoboHelp 8 [VIDEO]

At number 4, this is a popular video that covers the steps for effectively linking FrameMaker files in RoboHelp via the Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2 software.

  1. Recording: PDF-based Reviews via FrameMaker, Acrobat Pro and Acrobat.com [VIDEO]

This is one of my favorite features in Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2 and we were demonstrating this functionality at STC 10 and pointing people to it for more information. It also shows a practical way of using the “Cloud” for conducting collaborate reviews.

Happy Friday and I hope you have a marvelous weekend!
