Animation stopwatch
Use the timeline to create animations.

| Set when the animation starts | Drag the current-time indicator to the start time. | ||
| Enter animation mode | Click the Stopwatch icon. | ||
| Set when the animation stops | Drag the current-time indicator to the stop time. An orange marker on the timeline indicates when the animation starts. |

| Define the animated motion over time | Drag an object to its position when the animation stops. | ||
| Start editing specific properties of the object | Click the Show Object Tracks icon next to the object in the timeline. | ||
| Change object properties during an animation | Edit the object’s properties in the Selection Editor. New key points for modified properties appear at the end of the animation. |

| Change the duration of an animation | Drag its key point to a new time on the timeline. | ||
| View the animation | Drag the current-time indicator along the timeline. | ||
| Leave animation mode | Click the Stopwatch icon again. |
