Media Object: Clipping Frame

Clipping frames let you place digital images and videos in your document.

  • Dragging the clipping frame’s edges adjusts its height and width.
  • Double-clicking the clipping frame lets you insert, scale, crop, and rotate media.

 


 

To: Do this:
Insert a clipping frame Choose Insert > Media Objects > Clipping Frame.
Change the clipping frame’s dimensions Select the clipping frame and drag its handles.
Edit the clipping frame’s content Double-click the clipping frame. You can then:

  • Insert an image or video by choosing Insert > File and selecting a file to insert.
  • Scale the image by dragging the slider.
  • Crop the image by dragging it into position within the clipping frame.
Exit the clipping frame Press Esc.
