New Patch for Fireworks CS5 is available through Adobe Updater.(Help->Updates).Installer through Adobe.com site will be available in couple of days. Please install the update and let us know your feedback.

 

Please note that the Application package has not been changed from what it was in older update(11.0.1.7) the application version also remains the same (11.0.1.7).Only the update shows version  as 11.0.2 though internally it is same as 11.0.1.

 UPDATE: The above mentioned new update for Fireworks CS5 (11.0.2) has been posted in Adobe.com as well.Please download the update from

    Ok, this is weird. My co-worker has FW CS5 and he tried the update – it worked. Mine still doesn’t. Any help with this issue would be very much appreciated.

      @Ryan, I will have some one contact you offline. We will be needing the logs and some files from your system which will reflect the state of last update installation update.

      Request you to work with us so that we can resolve this issue.

    Same here. One machine is fine the other throws all kinds of issues.

    So, If I updated manually to 11.0.1.7, I don’t need to do anything?

      Yes Mike.If you have already updated to 11.0.1.7 updating again would not be required as functionally app has not changed from previous update to now.

    As a application that is aimed at web and devices can we please have SVG support at some point? I want to use fireworks to make SVG artwork for my android apps but at the moment I’ll have to stick to Illustrator.

      I have also bought CS5 recently from http://www.legalo.eu and I am really pleased with it!
