Yo, Campadre!

I’m sitting here on the train to Rochester trying to figure out what voice, what feel, I want to give to my bio for this blog. “Should I,” I wondered, “use the standard blah, blah, boring author bio, or my shorter, but equally as boring speaker bio?” In the end I have decided to simply pick out a few points that I think sum me up the best and leave it at that. West Coast Intro

So as long as we’re doing intros, I’m Colin, the Pacific Northwest guy.
I used to be a trainer and covered a broad range of applications in both print and web design and production. Shortly before joining Adobe, I specialized in conversion training from Quark to InDesign workflows.

In the beginning…

We’ll start out with some introductions and let you know who we are and why we’re here. Scratch Disk is the collaborative effort of several Adobe Application Engineers who work with all our desktop applications (and some of our server apps) across the US and Canada. In the coming days you’ll meet the rest of us, but for now we’ll start in Chicago.
