MXNA on your iPod

Christian Cantrell's blog posting sums it up well- MXNA-aggregated news on your iPod, for either reading or listening. I just got back from my morning run listening to the latest articles- a very cool way to catch up with your news, check it out!

This is a great contribution to the art and community of blogging, although I can't imagine listening to "Fred" while jogging... that flat monotone just lacks that motivational pep :)

Yep, I'd agree- although the voice choices are limited right now due to (IIRC) the open-source text-to-speech libraries Christian and Mike used to implement Takeaway. Fred's working OK for long, tedious stretches of road/trail when I need to hit that meditative state of mind, but I can't fathom listening to MXNA news thru the "Zarvox" voice... t'would be scary ;)

Maybe on April's Fool Day we could sub in a Tweety-Bird voice or something...? ;-)

owtch! that could be painful (but indeed funny)!
