I've used Studio 8 for a couple of months and I am very displeased with it and Pinnacle's customer support. I've had difficulty finding video editing software that costs less than $100. I've tried MyDVD, and trial versions of MyDVD, Ulead and Vegas 4.0. Windows Movie Maker 2 is great, but it won't burn DVDs.

Very sorry to hear you've had bad experiences w/Pinnacle's Studio 8 (I assume that's their consumer-level video suite?)... however given the fact that I don't work for Pinnacle, I'm really just interested in feedback on Macromedia's Studio 8 (i.e. our Dreamweaver/Flash/Fireworks products).
