Silke,
is there any word on a release of Captivate for the Mac platform... don't leave us hangin! This tool rocks and we need it on the best authoring platform them mac.
SF: We don't have a Mac version yet :( If it helps - Adobe Captivate 2 works just fine if you boot Windows on your Mac ... Please submit your request to run on the Mac OS via our wishform http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

Thanks for the info but... no, it doesn't help.
When in Boot Camp, you can run Apple specific softwares.
I have been hoping for Captivate on the Mac for many years now to allow creating instructional support material for Apple specific softwares.
Please port it to the Mac....
Thanks.....
p.s. did you notice the please??????
SF: Please submit this via the wishform! It will go directly to the product team :) The more requests we get for this from different users, the higher this request will move up in importance. If you look at Adobe Captivate 2, pretty much all the features are based on feature requests!

Still no Captivate for Mac? Why? Thanks for informing us that we can wish for it but why are we being shut out?

Can we take up a collection to give the development and delivery of a Mac version of Captivate a kick in the pants? Surely there are enough of us whiners out here to justify the effort & $, especially if you get Steve Jobs to bust out a demo at a MacWorld Expo. Now THERE"S an idea, Adobe!
SF: please keep sending the requests and include how many licenses you would have bought - this will help us build the case for a mac version.

I would likely pick up 3-4 licenses right away, plus the strong potential for another dozen or so within 3 months.
