AIR Native Extensions Samples Available

In conjunction with today’s announcement of AIR 3, we have now posted a Native Extensions for Adobe AIR page on the Adobe Developer Connection. It currently lists four extensions available for download from both Adobe and our developer community. We’ll post more here as they become available.

And, a reminder that there’s still time to register for Adobe MAX 2011. It’s a great place to find out about all of the new AIR 3 and Flash Player 11 features, including native extensions.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys rock, this is the best new feature Ive heard all year for the flash platform. Seriously though, this is awesome and is going to extend the value to share holders in the flash platform and developers worldwide. Please keep up the good work. There are a lot of flash developers that work in other languages like C++/java objective c and when Adobe makes air have these kinds of capabilities it really brings to life some Killer ideas. I used to use ZINC and write custom DLLS but now that adobe is fully supporting this Im totally excited to pick up Air now….

Congratulations to you all – you have no idea how many developers have been wanting this feature.
