It’s been a while…

Hi Spry:fans,

The weeks just zoom by.

The Spry team has been ‘heads down’ on the 1.6 release.

A couple things to note: We (well, our documentation team….) pushed the Spry 1.5 LiveDocs to the site. They are at

One of our Community Experts from Germany has just written an article on using Spry and PHP:

Kin and I have been looking for some new things to do with Spry, pushing the envelope a bit. Yours truely spent some spare cycles making a periodic table using HTML Data sets and some fun CSS. I wrote a case study for it, describing the thinking behind the code. Check it out here:

A short one this time…

Hi,Spry uses the BSD license. It is free to use in any way, as long as you keep the comments at the top of the Spry files. You are able to use it on commercial sites as much as you wish.Hope this helps.Don

  6. I am wondering the correct method for having a relative link to a file like a PDF within spry. What I am doing is I have a spry tabbed panels and then in that said panel I have a spry table I have built a data set from an xml file but if you go to and click on “Printers w/tabbed panels” in the menu bar you will see what I am encountering. I am more than willing to zip up the html/css and spry assets I am currently using. I spoke with Adobe Technical Support for about an hour the other day regarding this issue, and they informed me that “theoritically, the thing that your trying to do is possible.Insert xml data then insert table even only in anhtml file. It seems that the issue that you are having is with the xmlcode that you have hand-coded and we’re not really particular with xmlcodes. This is already outside our scope ofsupport, but we are still trying to check other reference to check ifyou need to revise your xml file.”

I have tried to use the panel widget inside the accordion widget. I used the code given by DW CS3. It works with Firefox but with IE 7 it failed. Is there a way to solve this? Thanks, Dario

I am having issues in IE7 as well. It works fine outside of a TD block, but it breaks inside it. I can’t figure it out.
