Steve Jobs’ Vision of the World

Ironic (if you know me) that I’m starting off with a Steve Jobs quote, but hey, he said something that has changed me in the middle of the day. And how often does that happen?

Steve Jobs Life Philosophy

“Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you..”

This concept is -without any hyperbole- life-altering.  Especially when you think about software and technology.

Yes, yes, I’m sure (in fact I know) that there are people out there in the industry that are more intelligent than I am. That’s not hard to do. But the point is- you are, in fact, as entitled to change the world around you as anyone else is or has ever been.

You don’t need permission. You don’t need a higher IQ. You don’t need to be more creative. You are already qualified to change the world around you.
Whether that be a better design, a more efficient process, or a new piece of code. Or all of those things.

If you can think it up, you can build it, and if you can think of something better, instead of just accepting what’s already there, go change it.

Indeed. Go change it.

I like this! If I was a teacher I would print this off and have it on the classroom wall!
Instead I will remember it in times of need!

    Very inspiring!

Don’t just let life happen, live intentionally!
