When you generate output using the Printed Documentation layout in RoboHelp, the title you specify in the Name field appears on the title page of the output.

What if you want to display your company logo or copyright and legal information on the title page? Here are some commonly used methods for adding a custom title page in the Printed Documentation output.
Method 1
- Create a title page in Word.
- In the Single Source Layouts pod, double-click the Printed Documentation layout. On the Print Document Section Layout page, click the Add Section icon and select the Word document that you’ve designed as the title page.
Note: After the Word document is added, you can use the Edit icon to edit the title page in Word from within RoboHelp.
- Click the Remove Section icon to delete the default title page.
- Complete the steps to generate the output.
Method 2
- In the RoboHelp project, create a separate topic as the title page.
- In the Single Source Layouts pod, double-click the Printed Documentation layout. On the Print Document Section Layout page, select the title page topic and add it to the section layout as the first topic.
- Delete the default title page.
- Complete the steps to generate the output.
Tip from a power user: Make the cover page attractive by using invisible tables for the layout, so that you can insert images and text in a way that is stable for when you export to Word.

What about offering some tips for creating images that are used with Title pages? Or suggesting some dedicated software that one might use to create attractive title pages?

I think that’s a great value-add for authors who don’t have a Graphics department to support them. I’ll try and put together some resources. Thanks for your comment, Rick.

Hi,
I have a watermark in the title page. This is not getting copied. Any ideas?
