New: Use of videos in FrameMaker help


Adobe FrameMaker help now has embedded videos. How do you like these videos in the help pages? Do they add value to the content? Please give your feedback in the help pages.

    Just tried to test the videos:
    Only the third link contains a video.
    The video about the new FM interface is of course real information value. But the video is 52 minutes, so it is nothing for typical usage of web based information. With regard to this,see: http://www.useit.com/alertbox/9710a.html
    What I would like to see are several short videos. Even the short videos must be combined with corresponding text information using the new cue point features of FM 11. I would like to know what’s inside the video by scanning the text.
    In fact I believe that videos will become a very important information carrier. But also videos as part of technical information must become short, concise and scannable.
