Dear RoboHelp Users,
I’m pleased to inform you that Adobe RoboHelp 8 now also supports Windows 7. With this, RoboHelp 8 is now compatible with Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 (Service Pack 3 recommended) or Windows Vista® with Service Pack 1 or Windows® 7.
Many of you inquired about support for Windows 7 in the past few months, and I’m sure you will be as excited about this development as I am. Looking forward to your continued support and co-operation.
Thanks,

Thats a good thing. I found the tool helpful in XP but upgraded to windows 7 when it came out.
This is a great development, thanks.
Does RoboHelp Server 8 support Windows Server 2008? 2008 R2 (64 bit)? 2003 32 bit?
We are analyzing the Robo Help features for one of the ASP .Net Web Application. Our requirement is to display help topics based on logged-in user access rights. E.g. Admin user creates help topic for all the pages available on the Web Application and ‘Publish’ it on the server. Now one user, who has only access to view couple of pages on the Web Application, is logged-in to the Web Application and clicks on Help link. Now system needs to open only help topics on which he has access. How can we achieve such kind of dynamic implementation in Robo Help? If suppose we are using the ‘Search’ features of the ‘Robo Help’ then how this features searches the text only for accessible pages?
Your valuable inputs are highly appreciated.
Ankur,
Is that support for Windows 7 – 32bit, Windows 7 -64bit or both?
I’m considering an upgrade from XP and this is important as I am restricted to Windows7-32bit by other applications and toolsets I use which will not run under the Windows7-64bit version.
Actually RoboHelp8 Might be suport windows 7 however not RoboSource on 64BIT Windows 7, which makes the product unsuable in multi-user environment. Damn because we wanted to use it!
now i used robohelp 7 but have problem with robohelp 7 and internet explorer 7, 8
