Today, I am pleased to announce the availability of TCS 5.0.1 update, which includes the latest versions of Adobe Captivate and Adobe Presenter products. We had included Captivate 7 and Presenter 9 in TCS 5 at launch, however, since we have released Captivate 8 and Presenter 10 recently, we are happy to include these newer versions of the products in TCS 5. All existing TCS 5 customers are eligible for this free update.

How can the existing TCS 5 customers get this update?
Volume Licensing Customers: Customers worldwide, who purchased Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5 under the Adobe Volume Licensing Program, can now download the Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5.0.1 update (comprising of Adobe Captivate 8 and Adobe Presenter 10) from their respective LWS accounts.
Subscription Customers: Customers worldwide, who purchased Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5 via the subscription model, can download the new build of Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5.0.1 (comprising of Adobe Captivate 8 and Adobe Presenter 10) from their respective subscription accounts.
Others: All the other customers worldwide, who purchased Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5 should follow the steps mentioned below:
- Download Captivate 8 and Presenter 10 from their trial pages.
- Use your existing serial key of Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5 to activate Captivate 8 and Presenter 10.
- In case of any issues, please contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance.
Please note that when you update TCS, please don’t forget to update RoboHelp as well, since we have updated the RoboHelp build to make it compatible with Captivate 8.
Upgrading to Captivate 8 & Presenter 10:When you install this update, you might face issues when launching the new Captivate 8. Also, for the latest Presenter 10, you need to uninstall any previous version of Presenter installed on your computer.
