Since we have been on a Forms binge lately, I was asked, "when you create a drop down list, how do you set one of the list to be a default?" Well you are lucky, I can show you in a short entry, so here we go.

If you watched the eSeminar last Wednesday (July 11, 2007), you saw me whiz through creating a Form Distribution Work flow from a word document that I recieved from my son’s soccer team. I got a lot of feedback asking for a more indepth look at how to create a forms based workflow in Acrobat 8 Professional (Note: that this is a windows only workflow for now, the workflow for the Mac is slightly different and I will be putting the Mac version up here as soon as my Mac comes in
. So for all my adoring fans, here you go!

Sorry, but, I get asked this question almost every day! How do I create a custom stamp in Acrobat 8 Professional or Acrobat 3D Version 8?
How do I add my user name and date like in the standard stamps in Acrobat, or better put, How do I create a custom dynamic stamp.
Well, that is the million dollar question today. I was recently at one of the largest EPC firms and that question came up in every group I talked to. I feel your pain, and understand, this is a feature that we need to add to Acrobat 8 Professional and Acrobat 3d version 8 (Hopefully we can get it spec’d for Acrobat 9).

In this entry of the Acrobat for AEC Blog, I want to show you a cool little tip and trick I picked up while visiting a leading AEC design firm. While we where sitting around I was asked “Hey Tim, can you crop a PDF?” I said with full confidence “Of course we can.” And I started to show them this…..
